Steve Jett is National Marketing Manager for the Lexus Division of Toyota Motor Sales.
He is responsible for all event/sponsorship activities including the golf, cycling, various culinary initiatives, hotel partnerships, fashion/design, auto enthusiast and eco-friendly programs. In addition, he is responsible for all Lexus digital initiatives, including websites, social media strategies and web-based entertainment portals.
Jett started at Toyota in 1989 and has held numerous marketing positions including National Parts and Service Marketing manager and both National Car and Truck Advertising manager within the Toyota marketing department. He was involved in several key marketing launches, including development of the advertising campaigns for the first and second generation Prius – the best selling hybrid vehicle in the U.S. – and the launch of the new full-size truck Tundra, viewed as the largest launch in Toyota’s history. Most recently, he helped to further build out Lexus’ engagement initiatives by adding cycling and extending the partnership with the United States Golf Association. Currently, Lexus is actively involved in seven different sponsorship categories.
