Biography

Tamara Nolte has worked for The Second City since 2007, first as a training center teacher in the Musical Improv Conservatory in Chicago and later (and currently) as a corporate workshop facilitator. Tamara earned her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and has more than 15 years experience in educational administration, small business management, and start-ups.

She’s managed large and small teams, hired and trained incoming employees, developed one-of-a-kind interactive multi-media experiences for parents and their children, and built two start-ups from the ground-up. On the comedy side, she has performed short-form improv for ComedySportz, hip-hop improv with The Beatboxand sketch comedy with Johnny’s Regret. She is also the Creator/Producer of Tamara’s Caption Contest, and Nun On Pun Off on-line and live game shows harnessing the power of the pun. Tamara’s unique experience has helped her lead and design improv-based communication and storytelling training for Fortune 100 companies and many of the nation’s top universities.
